Saya seorang Pengeblog!

I’ve been spending so much time on the virtual space looking after my blogs. I have to keep my NUS soccer blog updated and now i have my malay blog to do also.

With the amount of time i spend on blogging, i can soon introduce myself as

” Hi! Saya seorang Pengeblog!”

Funny.

Anyway, me Chestar(Ong) and Boon Pin had some fruitful discussions on the project. At first we wanted to work on our common interest – Soccer, but we couldn’t really find anything interesting to do with. or at least we couldn’t decide on something as a group.

Then we went into discussion how soccer betting can affect soccer in many ways. Like how betting can increase revenue for sports, create more interest and fan base, raise profile of the sport but also corrupt it and cause bribery like the case in Sleague. But then we decided this is not going to catch the interest of the girls in our class. So… MOVE ON.

Next i suggested about how the old National Stadium can have so many meanings and memories.

For secondary school kids, National Stadium to them can mean the annual National track and Fields where they gather as a school to cheer their school’s finest athletes and bask in glory. Or SYF ceremonies.

For soccer fanatics it might bring back memories of the Malaysia Cup days where fans would deck out in their reddest top to root for the Lions.

For the normal Singaporeans, National Stadium might bring back memories of attending the NDP with your loved ones, watching the fighter planes jet past in the skies above your heads or even the mesmerizing moment where fireworks filled the skies.

Sounds interesting to me but many not as much to my other 2 team mates who wanted a more fun and light hearted topic.

Then Chestar suggested we talk about Toilet Etiquettes! Haha. Funny topic! I like also. We decided to work on the fact that Visiting the toilet can be a very important experience of our everyday life. So having a good experience in toilets can really change our lifes and our moods!

Things that we decided to do are:

1. Reenact out scenes in videos to show current problems in toilets like wet floors, misuse of toilet paper, squatting on toilet bowls, shit out of the bowl, vandalize walls etc etc. this will definitely be very very funny
2. then we can provide solutions with gadgets that we invent or campaigns that can educate people
3. Discuss more indepth ideas and topics can be discussed if neccesary i.e reasons behind such habits? Cultural? Habitual? Upbringing? or simply because of the kind of toilets –> cheap toilets people don’t bother to keep clean.
